I shared the halls and classrooms of the school perched on top of the hill with you. Now, I, and all the other women runners out there who choose to, will also get to share Marikina’s streets at the takbo bayani 21K run.
Thank you for issuing the challenge to the Marikina Sports Council and calling everyone to arms! What girl does not appreciate a knight now and then?

I just revisited TBR’s blog and seeing all those witty, hilarious comments posted there gave me a good laugh. She’s definitely keeping those Bull horns sharp… and that’s a really good thing for all of us!
And perhaps the neanderthal line really did die out… I need to ask Transition Zero about that. Haha!
And then theres SF Runner’s voice of reason and experience. I’m sure that added much more weight to the arguments you forwarded through your email.
I know there were so many others who took action and who did this a lot more quietly. And I can definitely appreciate all this from my little corner.
And yes… I guess I’ll see you there. After all, what’s 21K between friends? Bwahahahhaha! š Magdala kang tubig!
Actually, I’m planning to ask our driver to be my support crew and photographer. You and Bards are welcome to use him as well, I’ll load up the cooler with gatorade/water/etc.

hahaha! tama ka dun… well they did relent so perhaps the threat of extinction got them to rethink their ways? (i can only surmise the many ways their line got extinct! hmmm…perhaps a margaloo-esque attack had something to do with it?)
